NEWS FROM THE Y

Feel healthier, be stronger - join our Active Older Adults

Older adult wellness programing is one of our fastest growing program areas. We have a large group of men and women participating in aquatics, fitness and strength training programs. These programs help older adults maintain independent healthy lifestyles. Our AOA programs (age 50 and over) will help you not only physically, but emotionally and spiritually.

Specially designed exercise programs include:
  • Slimnastics
  • Walking Club
  • Strength & Stretch Class
  • Joyful Joints
  • Zumba Gold
More than just exercise:
  • Enjoy our delicious monthly Birthday Pot-Luck Luncheons.
  • Come test your bowling skills on Senior Mondays at the Super Bowl.
  • Bring your lunch and good conversation for our Brown Bag Book Club.
  • Break out your dancing shoes for our Line Dancing Classes.
  • Feed your adventurous spirit on our special trips and events throughout the year. Past trips have included Branson MO, Elko NV, Chicago, The Smoky Mountains, Savannah Georgia, Washington D.C., Mackinac, Cape Cod, Mount Rushmore, Boston, and many more to come.
